HOW A SESSION WORKS

How a session works - distance healing
A distance healing session begins with you sitting quietly in a comfortable place. I suggest gentle focussed breathing for approximately ten minutes before the session (and video-call*) is scheduled to start. We will begin with a brief discussion about how you are feeling and what you would like to get out of the session.

* If for any reason you'd prefer not to have a video-call, we can speak on the phone or by text.

I will check that you are sitting or laying comfortably and that you will be undisturbed for the rest of the session. Please also allow a minimum of one hour (or preferably much longer) for resting time afterwards. This is really important as it gives your mind and body a chance to respond to the healing energy. Avoid jumping straight back into busy or demanding activities. Make this time about focussing on you and allow yourself to enjoy the experience. I recommend having a blanket and a glass of water to hand.

Once you are ready, I will bring in the healing energy. It is up to you whether we stay connected on the call during the session. Some clients prefer it if we end the call in order to fully experience their own meditative state. I am guided by my intuition. Communication tends to be kept to a minimum during this part of the session. I encourage you to focus on yourself. You will most likely feel a sense of all-over calmness. Clients have reported feeling warmth in parts of the body and sometimes a gentle tingling sensation. Some clients will see colours and patterns. There is no right or wrong way to experience energy healing.

Once the therapeutic part of the session concludes, I will tell you that we have finished and invite you to remain sitting/laying quietly.

I will end the call at this point (if we are still connected) to leave you resting. Clients often feel sleepy after energy healing although some clients can feel energised. There is no right or wrong way to feel but either way, it is important to rest. I invite you to contact me after the session in your own time with any feedback.
How a session works - in-person one-to-one session
Sessions take place at your chosen location.

I have devised a method of working with clients where we simply sit comfortably in a quiet room. During a treatment there is no physical contact between me (the practitioner) and you (the client). Clients always remain fully clothed. You are also more than welcome to have a friend or family member present at an in-person session*.

*Please note - it is a requirement to have a responsible adult present at an in-person one-to-one session when the client is aged under 18 years.
